Policies

Returns
All returns, except sale items will be accepted within 30 days of purchase. All sales of discount items are final. Refunds will be issued in the form they were received.  Items must be returned in the condition sold with a copy of the receipt.  All purchases can be returned in person at the Surroundings store location, 1708 Sunset Blvd., Houston, TX 77005.  Please call in advance if returning a large item, such as a piece of furniture.  If returning by mail, please be sure to return the item in a well packaged box and fully insured for the item.  Surroundings is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in the mail.  All costs of return shipments are the responsibility of the owner.  

Damaged Items
Damage claims on shipped items must be made within 7 days of package arrival.  Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt as no claims can be made after 7 days.  Please contact us immediately at 713-527-9838 or at info@surroundingshouston.com for a replacement or refund.  UPS often requires an inspection in the event of damage, so please hold onto all packing materials and the damaged item until further notice.  

Shipping
We currently only ship to addresses in the continental United States.  All orders are either shipped UPS ground or through the United States Postal Service.  Orders usually ship within 2 business days of placement and shipping usually takes 3-5 business days.  All delivery times are estimates though, so please contact us by phone at 713-527-9838 if timing is critical.  

Sales Tax
Sales tax will be added to all shipments mailed within Texas.

Cancellations
Cancelled orders that have been processed and packaged, will have a 15% restocking fee.  If the order has already shipped, the order cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a return.
